Love & Laughter… these two are just so perfect together! Thrilled to be blogging their in Love Engagement shoot after a week of terrible load shedding, we can start the new week with such an inspirational couple and an awesome proposal…
“Friday the 3rd of November, I woke up early thinking we are going to Miliepop (a music festival). We were driving with my friend Bel, whose boyfriend was a pilot. She had told me she was going for a sunrise flight and could we not pick her up on the way. I had put in a day’s leave so I thought it was all working out and the earlier we get there the better. George was really good that morning and had let me sleep in a bit while he packed the car. (I’m not the best at waking up). We then made our way to the airport. When we got there I phoned Bel and she told me to meet her inside she needs help with carrying her camping stuff. So George parked at the drop off and I went in to meet my friend. She was taking forever and then phone me to tell me she had forgotten her purse. I had some work to do so went back outside to tell George to come wait. As I was walking out, he phoned me to say he was with Bel by SAA. When I got there I couldn’t see them and couldn’t understand why because the airport wasn’t busy. Then I saw George standing by the SAA counter, and only then did he think something was up. He had surprised me with a week to Zanzibar! That evening we went for a lovely dinner and when we arrived back at the room George got down on one knee and proposed, however he took the wrong hand. Neither of us noticed. Only later did George notice, and so he got down on one knee once more…”
