It’s no secret that I teach part time photography at Tshwane University of Technologies. Once a year Mr Flip du Toit (Head of Photography Department and Colleague) and I venture out to Kaapsche Hoop with our Third Year Photography students for a photographic field trip. Kaapsche Hoop, a town situated in Mpumalanga (about 25Km from Nelspruit) is known as a “fairytale town with a rich and monumental history which is the perfect place to unwind…” With all the photographic possibilities ranging from: rocks, trees, open sky, its always nice to visit Kaapsche Hoop, the perfect location for various amount of landscape assignments.
